How you can help

We rely entirely upon volunteers for all our work supporting people who need us, fund raising and the administrative tasks associated with our premises, management and governance.  Our volunteers fall into two groups (although many help with more than one activity):

Listening Volunteers ...

Man the telephones, talk to people visiting us, answer emails and webchat conversations, and provide training and support to other volunteers.

Support Volunteers ...

Help with some of the following:

We always need more people to help with the above activities – both those who can help regularly and those whom we can contact when we have a fund-raising event.  So please contact us even if you are unsure about how you could help.

Financial support

We also need funds to run Hillingdon Samaritans – about £60 per day (with Gift Aid).  To find out more about sponsoring our running costs for a day, please click here.  If you would just like to make a donation (any amount large or small would be very much appreciated), please use the form below, or click the here to go to our page on CAF Donate. You may give any amount you wish by credit/debit card (and boost it with Gift Aid if you are a taxpayer), or by CAF charity account.

If you wish to donate to us directly not using a credit/debit/charity card, you can download here a form that has options for our Golden Appeal, Gift Aid and setting up a bank Standing Order, any of which you may complete and post to us.

Donate £60 to sponsor the running of this branch of Samaritans for one day.
